Have you ever tried a tapping foot rhyme with your young one?
This is especially good in the warmer months when Baby or young ones are starting to wear baby clothes without sleeves, leggings or socks.
It is such a wonderful surprise to look down at tiny little toes, just waiting for a toe wiggle rhyme! They look so cute. The hardest decision was which baby toes or toe wiggle rhyme to do first?
The sole of the foot is very soft and just the right place to stroke with the beat as you say a foot tapping rhyme. There are lots about, but today try Diddle, Diddle, Dumpling
Diddle, diddle, dumpling, my son John
Went to bed with his stockings on;
One shoe off, and one shoe on,
Diddle, diddle, dumpling, my son John.
Then on the other foot.
What a lovely experience for everyone !!
Have fun.
