Did you see it? Tuesday 8 March 2016 on ABC Catalyst. Where music enabled a Parkinson sufferer who shuffled to dance a waltz with the person who was supporting him. Also the lady who could not speak after listening to her music playlist spoke eloquently about her memories.

On Wednesday, Jill conducted a Music Workshop for fellow educators at the Kodaly Music Education Institute of Australia (KMEIA) Conference in Sydney, Australia which focused on birth to 3 years, her specialty area.
On Tuesday Jill completed 6 months as the in-residence Educator of the teachers in the Macquarie University's Early Childhood Centres. The time concluded as it had started, with an interactive and participative Workshop. The Centres hope to repeat the training in 2015.
At jillsMusic today the children had a ball talking like pirates and dressed as Pirates and Sailors and sang a sea shanty called "Way Haul Away" and put treasure into a treasure chest and sang "There's A Treasure". What fun!
Just around the corner are the Baby proms at the Sydney Opera House from 10 to 21 September. Don't miss out, tickets are sold quick.

Jill is involved in co-Research at Macquarie University in 2014 and mentoring teachers in the Early Learning Centres.

Jill is attending the International Early Childhood Music Education Conference (ECME)in Corfu Greece and will be involved in the assisting with the Papers on Thursday. The theme is Making the World a Better Place Through Music with daily focuses including Facilitating Musical Beginnings, Interaction & Collaboration, and researchers from around the world sharing traditional early childhood music from their countries.
