Five Little Ducks

We have a large yellow rubber duck floating in Sydney harbour at the moment and after seeing this duck and thinking of our grand-daughter, was the motivation for duck rhymes.

Five little ducks went out one day

Over the Hills and far away

Mother Duck said quack quack quack

And only Four little ducks came back.

Four little ducks went out to play

Over the Hills and far away

Mother Duck said quack quack quack

And only three little ducks came back back back.

 

Three little ducks went out one day

Over the Hills and far away

Mother Duck said quack quack quack

And only Two little ducks came back.

Two little ducks went out one day

Over the Hills and far away

Mother Duck said quack quack quack

And only one little duck came back.

 

One little duck went out one day

Over the Hills and far away

Mother Duck said quack quack quack

No little duck came back.

Then Mother Duck said quack quack quack

And all the little ducks came back.
